Recruiting several Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support students with Complex Needs and a range of Learning Disabilities in mixed-age classes within the Rainham/Upminster area in partnership with the HR of the school.

Candidates with the skills, experience and knowledge from a care background working with Special Needs may also be considered.
Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role & Qualification:
- Experience and knowledge of supporting children with Complex Needs and Learning Disabilities.
- Able to be flexible and work with social, learning and personal needs of each individual student
- Calm controlled and effective communication and relate well to all students and adults within the school.
- The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within this.
- Understanding of ASD and traits and triggers is desirable
- To assist with personal care if needed.
- Level 2 (GCSE) Qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or H&S care qualification
