1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a Reception Student

- Salary: 20700 - 23000 per annum pro rata
Teaching Assistant required in Romford to support a student 1-1 starting in reception with additional needs.
The successful candidate should ideally have EYFS knowledge and experience supporting reception students with additional needs. It is unknown the extent of the students full needs until they start school in September so someone with a flexible approach and a can do attitude will work well with the requirement. A working knowledge of ASD would be beneficial.
One – One Teaching Assistant Role Requirements:
To support the student 1-1 in the classroom and possible out of the classroom with a work station
To work alongside the teacher to integrate the student as a member of their learning environment.
To have a working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and have supported students in Early Years.
To keep a safe environment and be aware of all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Experience and knowledge supporting ASD and to manage behavioural triggers and traits.
Qualified with a relevant L2/L3 Teaching Assistant or SEND qualification would be ideal.
