'Float' SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS2

Recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with experience and knowledge of supporting various SEND students to be a ‘float’ TA supporting a range of their SEN students across KS2.

The suitably qualified Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teachers and the School’s SENCO to support the learning and development of the individual students in each of the classes. An opportunity to have a flexible role in the school and gain experience with a number of students and various year groups.

Teaching Assistant Role:

Experience and knowledge of working with a range of Special Needs and Learning Disabilities

The ability to assess the individual learning needs of student

A positive attitude, the ability to emphasise and a willingness to develop and learn in the role.

To be calm, patient and have a caring approach to working 1-1 with students that have Learning Difficulties.

To have an understanding and knowledge of PECs and Makaton and supporting a student at a workstation.

Qualification

Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant / SEND or Care qualification.
