Special Needs Teaching Assistant required to support a KS1 student as a 2-1 (second person is a member of staff) showing signs of Challenging Behaviour at a school in the Havering area.
Ideally the right candidate to be experienced in supporting students that show Challenging Behaviour and aware of Triggers and Traits.
Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role & Qualification:
Experience in supporting KS2 students showing signs of Challenging Behaviour
Knowledge and experience of managing Challenging Behaviour and employing de-escalation skills
Able to identify triggers and traits
To ensuring a safe and organised environment for the learning to the student
To work as part of a team to develop trust and build relationships
To have a good understanding of professional boundaries.
Qualified with a relevant L2/L3 TA or Care qualification
