Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support 2x Year 6 students both with ASD & ADHD at a school in the Upminster area.

The suitably experienced candidate will support one of the students 1-1 in the morning and the other student 1-1 in the afternoon.

For this role you will need to be resilient, fun, humorous, flexible and creative.

Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role:

To work alongside the class teacher with the students learning and development within the classroom
To inspire, motivate and promote safe learning to the students on a 1-1 basis within the classroom
To have knowledge and experience in supporting students with ASD & ADHD
To have an understanding on how to manage behavioural triggers & traits
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Care or SEND qualification
