COVID Safe job Interviews
At Apex Education Recruitment, we have tailored our interview process with safety at the core throughout the COVID pandemic. We are always monitoring best practise keeping everyone safe as our top priority without compromising ‘Safer Recruitment & child safeguarding’.
We are currently recruiting heavily for January 2021 positions in schools; rest assured our interview process has COVID safe measures in place to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Once you apply, your first telephone interview may be more in depth as we are not looking at any face-face contact during the lockdown period.
Once shortlisted you will be invited to the second phase of our interview process – currently online. Please don’t be phased we will support you as the online interviews can be more daunting (and we will help with any technology to get you started ?)
After lockdown we will return at some point to face-to-face interviews.
It is your interview process and we are looking for the passionate and right skilled candidates to work with special needs students, make the most of it.
If you are asked to attend a face-to-face interview during COVID-19 after the lockdown period, Apex Education Recruitment have full COVID procedures in place in all of our office locations.
Please ensure you:
- Arrive and use the hand sanitiser in reception
- Wait outside until the interviewer is ready for you.
- Maintain a minimum physical distance from others inside.
- Wear a face mask in communal areas or in the interview.
- Follow other sensible precautions e.g. avoid touching your face and eyes
- Wash or hand sanitise your hands where necessary
Obviously if you have any of the main symptoms of COVID-19, you should not attend an interview in person; however, you could still have interviews by telephone or online.
Prior to any interview, keep all of your relevant documents together so you have them to hand however the interview process in implemented. We will inform you of the documents we require prior to your interview.
You might want to keep a bag ready with essential supplies like spare masks, hand sanitiser, tissues, bottle of water etc – whatever you need to feel comfortable and safe on your way to, during, and home from the interview.
