We meet every potential job applicant face to face and carry out an in-depth meeting to view any certification, passports and visa and to clarify full history discussing any gaps in work history. We then ascertain what skills, experience and the type of role that would be best suited to them, guide and give advice where needed to support them in finding their ideal job.

No, if after our initial screening or interview if the job seeker does not have the relevant skills, experience or vetting compliance required we will not offer them work but will advise and help them move forward into some other employment that is relevant.

All candidates that are skilled, experience and are fully vetted, we make sure the role offered is right for them and for you as a client.  Retention is high on candidates placed.

Yes, please contact us where we can discuss the level of support you would like. We can advertise in many areas for no charge to you.

We provide a very personal service, and we believe one size does not fit all clients.  We discuss how you would like us to work with you. Prior to any member of staff starting, we request that a member of senior management of Apex Education Recruitment attends site to discuss your needs, carry out risks if needed.  Once a worker is in place, we keep in regular contact on how they are getting on. We then visit site to meet with yourselves and staff to carry out a progress update meeting, as temporary staff do not receive appraisals and we feel this is paramount to their development and progress within your school.

This is no problem at all, as previously discussed one size does not fit all, please contact us and we can arrange a bespoke service to you.

Yes, most definitely, we will meet with you to go through the individual requirements and ascertain the right skills needed from a staff member.  We will not place someone with you until we are 100% confident that they are right for the student.

We have over 3 decades of collective work in schools between us, the last 10 years has been predominantly supporting special needs.    We have good knowledge of all the areas and skills needed to support students, along with their EHCP.  Clients have been so happy with the progress of students some of whom were floundering before we found the right person to work with them.

If we haven’t got the right person, we won’t just send anyone we will continue the recruitment process until we find them, or you inform us you have secured someone yourself.

Yes, prior to the candidates first day with you we send over their full vetting as an encrypted file to your designated compliance manager (following GDPR 3rd party policy data handling).  You will also have a photo of the candidate.

On arrival the candidate is asked to bring their enhance DBS certificate and photo ID

Yes, please speak to us if you would like to offer a contract, we have a probation period in place which after this time, do not charge you any introductory fees.  Over 75% of our candidates have gone on to secure permanent jobs and we want to support this.

We require all our workers to be carrying out up to date Safeguarding, also we guide them to areas of training they would need to do if a role required this. When we carry out progress update meetings, this also helps us to identify any area of training needed.

All workers are paid through PAYE hence we are not subject to IR35 rules.

Yes, Karen Maynard the company Owner/Director is a Qualified Teacher with QTS.

Yes, we are members of the REC, which is the governing body for recruitment and have to remain compliant within the industry.

All office staff are ‘Safer Recruitment in Education’ trained.
